Hi! I’m Aida (pronounced “eye-duh”) and I’m currently a junior in high school. I’m from New York and I like to read books and binge-watch documentaries in my free time. My love for medicine, specifically orthopedic surgery, stems from how creativity, strategical analysis, active communication, and empathy all combine into one field. In terms of my fascination with orthopedics, I’ve always found it interesting how your bones provide your body with its main structure but are also incredibly fragile and need a lot more care than they often receive—there’s always more to them than meets the eye.
